Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Appraa AI platform ("Appraa", "we", "us") operated by Appraa Technologies. By creating an account, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

1. The service

Appraa lets you create AI voice agents that handle inbound calls to your assigned phone number and can place outbound calls on your behalf. Use of the service is subject to the limits of your subscription plan.

2. Account and security

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and command-center PIN secret.
  • You must provide accurate information at signup and keep it current.
  • You may not share your account with others or run automated signups.

3. Acceptable use

Use of Appraa is also governed by our Acceptable Use Policy. Violations of the AUP may result in immediate account termination without refund.

4. Phone number assignment

We assign you a phone number from our telephony providers (Vapi / Twilio) at signup. The number remains assigned to you while your account is active and may be reclaimed within 30 days of account closure. The number is not portable off the Appraa platform.

5. Calls and recordings

  • Both inbound and outbound calls may be recorded for quality and safety. By using the service, you consent to recording of calls on your account.
  • On outbound calls, our AI always discloses that it is an AI to the recipient.
  • You are responsible for ensuring that you have legal permission to call the numbers you instruct your agents to dial, including compliance with TCPA, the national Do Not Call registry, state robocall laws, and any consent requirements in the recipient's jurisdiction.

6. Subscription and billing

  • Plans are billed monthly in advance via Stripe.
  • Minutes and call quotas are per billing period and reset on each renewal date. Unused minutes do not roll over.
  • You can cancel anytime via the dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Charges are generally non-refundable. If your account is terminated for AUP violation, you forfeit any prepaid time.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or the AUP, or if your use creates abuse risk for recipients, our other users, or our infrastructure providers.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. AI voice agents make mistakes. You are responsible for reviewing outcomes and for any consequences of calls placed on your behalf. We do not guarantee uptime, accuracy, or particular results.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid Appraa in the 3 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) $50 USD. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Appraa harmless from any claim arising out of your use of the service in violation of these Terms or applicable law, including claims by recipients of calls placed on your behalf.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified via email or in-app notice at least 7 days before they take effect. Continued use after that period constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflicts-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas.
